• account profile information made available through Auth0, such as name, email address, and user identifier;
• billing and subscription status information made available through Stripe;
• messages or requests you send to us by email or through support channels.

We may also process limited technical information needed to run and protect the website and APIs, such as request metadata, IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, and security logs.

How we use information

• respond to early-access requests and communicate release or product updates you asked to receive;
• provide account login, authentication, subscription access, and billing support;
• operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and related services;

Service providers

We use trusted service providers to operate the website and related services. Based on the current implementation, these include:

• Auth0 for authentication and identity management;
• Stripe for checkout, billing, payment processing, and subscription management;
• Supabase for storing website intake submissions;
• Resend for sending website submission and product communication emails, where configured;
• Cloudflare for hosting, security, and network delivery.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices. We do not store full payment card numbers on MicroEng systems; payment details are handled by Stripe.

Disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate MicroEng, with professional advisers where necessary, or where required to comply with law, enforce our rights, protect users, or respond to lawful requests.

Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including to manage accounts, respond to requests, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal or tax obligations. You can ask us to delete or update information, subject to information we must retain for legitimate business or legal reasons.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including relying on established providers for authentication, payment processing, hosting, and email delivery. No internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

International processing

Our service providers may process or store information outside Australia. Where this occurs, we rely on those providers' security, privacy, and contractual controls to support appropriate handling of personal information.

Your choices and rights

You can contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. You can also ask us to stop sending early-access or product update emails. We may need to verify your identity before actioning a request.
